Kevin Falcon's "F" score as a party leader is based on assessment of his personal leadership on 9 measurement categories relating to policy, voting, or actions, summarized as follows:
He was elected only in 2022, so he has had only two votes in the legislature on socially-conservative issues. Both those votes were good.
Falcon is pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia, viewing these forms of homicide as a so-called “right”.
Falcon supports misappropriating taxpayer dollars to fund elective abortions.
During the party leadership race, Falcon committed to protecting "the Christian community" who “may have beliefs that may not be the most popular thing".
However, after becoming Leader, he failed to defend the conscience and religious freedom rights of St. Paul’s Catholic Hospital when it was being pressured by the NDP and the media to allow euthanasia in contravention of the institution’s Catholic religious beliefs.
Falcon has made no public statements, one way or the other, on the topic of conscience rights legislation to protect doctors and nurses from being coerced to participate in or give referrals for abortion and euthanasia.
Falcon has made no public statements, one way or the other, on the topic of BC’s censorship laws which established no-protest, no-free speech bubble zones around abortion mills and hospitals.
However, on April 30th, he did vote against the NDP’s legislation to criminalize peaceful parental rights protests within 20 metres of every school in BC.
Falcon was a big supporter of of draconian vaccine mandates, ostensibly approving of the firing of nurses, doctors and other frontline healthcare workers when they refused to take the abortion-tainted Covid-19 injections.
Although his 2024 campaign platform now calls for rehiring the unvaccinated health care workers who were fired during the lockdowns, it is difficult to trust his sincerity,
Falcon is a supporter of the transgender and homosexual movement.
His campaign website for the BC Liberals leadership race depicted him strutting on a gay, rainbow-painted crosswalk. His social media posts have celebrated LGBT Pride Month.
In 2021, he tweeted that it was a great accomplishment that a biological male who played on the gold medal-winning, Canadian women's soccer team, was able to help defeat the Swedish women's team (which consisted of real women).
During the #1MillionMarch4Children protests against sexualization and indoctrination of school children, Falcon initially acknowledged the “legitimate concerns” of parents.
However, after just a bit of criticism from the leftist mainstream media, he back-tracked. To appease the left, he issued a statement slandering the parents as harbingers of “hate”.
Falcon cannot be trusted on drug policy.
In 2023, Falcon supported decriminalization of hard drugs like crack and cocaine, along with the insane practice of giving free drugs to addicts.
Only now that the overdose deaths, crime and violence in BC streets has become plainly visible to voters who are disturbed by it, Falcon has suddenly decided that he would “revisit” the free drugs policy if elected Premier, and now, suddenly, opposes the NDP’s failed experiment on the decriminalization of hard drugs.
NOTE: Always make your voting decision based on the merit of your local candidates, not the Party Leaders. If a local candidate in your riding has a green light rating from Campaign Life Coalition, vote for them, even if the Party Leader disappoints.
